Take action alongside schools across the city –
HEP would like to share the following information from GameChangers, part of the Mayor's School Volunteering Programme - Team London Young Ambassadors.
Big Ideas is running a Digital Food Justice Youth summit on 21st January 2022 from 9:30 to 10:30 am. This is a great opportunity to empower young people on how to take action in their local community to help those without enough to eat.
We would absolutely want to have schools in Hounslow involved in this event.
Not having access to food is a growing problem for families across London. A huge network of food banks and community kitchens are working hard across the capital to keep our communities fed. From collecting donations, petitioning local businesses or raising awareness, there are so many ways to strive for food justice. It’s time to empower your students to take action!
Sign up to receive the GameChangers Food Justice Classroom Challenges and then join thousands of other young Londoners for the GameChangers Food Justice Youth Summit - 09:30 - 10:30am on Friday 21st January live on Zoom.
Hear from other schools and young campaigners from across the capital, put your questions directly to our star panel and celebrate the work you have done for this important issue.
Sign up now to secure a place for your class.
