Campaign from Hounslow Council in partnership with Keep Britain Tidy –
HEP would like to share information about the Great Big School Clean campaign starting at the end of March. The council would like to encourage schools to take part in the campaign by holding their own litter pick events.
Great Big School Clean
Grab your litter picks and pack some bin bags, because it’s time for the Great Big School Clean.
Taking place 25 March – 10 April, Hounslow Council is encouraging schools in the borough to hold their own clean up events.
This year the message is simple. From today, you can pledge on behalf of your school to pick up one bag – or more – and join our #BigBagChallenge. Because one bag makes a big difference.
How to get involved
Pledge as a school
Let us know how many pupils will take part and how many bags they pledge to collect on the Keep Britain Tidy’s website here. You can start picking up any time from now until the end of term - and we will even count litter picked up during school holidays, up to 10 April 2022.
We can help
Once you have pledged, tell us about the clean-up event you are planning by emailing: Cleaner.Greener@hounslow.gov.uk.
The Council can provide free bags and lend you litter pickers for your event. We will also organise for your bagged waste to be collected after the clean-up.
