Positive feedback from delegates following the first meeting –
HEP was pleased to welcome colleagues to the first DAT meeting of the year, focusing on Oracy, on Wednesday 10th November. Thank you to all keynote contributors and facilitators for their hard work and to delegates for their collaborations and best practice sharing.
A full evaluation will follow in due course, but initial feedback from 67 forms completed is that:
- 91% of delegates agreed or strongly agreed with the statement, ‘I have more strategies/ techniques/ ideas around oracy activities as a result of this meeting.’
- 93% of delegates agreed or strongly agreed with the statement, ‘The subject breakout discussions were productive and collaborative.’
The keynote (28 minutes) is available on the HEP YouTube channel to either be re-watched or more widely disseminated within departments – DAT Keynote

Please can any remaining evaluations be completed by delegates and facilitators here?
Meeting 2 will be on Wednesday January 12th 2022, 2.30-4.30pm, both revisiting work done on oracy by delegates between sessions and focusing on the big question: ‘How do we develop reading in our subject to be academic and scholarly?’
