Subject networks have been established to assist the development of subject teaching in Hounslow whilst supporting CPD of middle leaders.

The network aims to:

• Develop professional relationships between colleagues from different schools which facilitates ongoing peer support
• Support subject leads in keeping up-to-date with emerging policy and consider with their subject colleagues the implications for strategy and practice
• Facilitate sharing and development of good practice related to subject teaching, learning and assessment
• Provide a mechanism for efficient and effective consultation and information flow between subject leads and the wider HEP
