GHR Awards

HEP wanted to recognise and reward schools who developed, embedded and enriched their RfP culture and ethos.

The awards

Get Hounslow Reading programme facilitator, Charlotte Raby and project leader, Nikola Standing offered the following awards:

  • GHR Ambassador of the Year 2023/24
  • GHR Contingent Talk Practitioner of the Year 2023/24
  • GHR Reading for Pleasure Teacher of the Year 2023/24
  • GHR School Library of the Year 2023/24
  • GHR RfP School of the Year 2023/24

Each winner was presented with a certificate during the GHR Conference in March 2024.

Each winner of the School of the Year award received a trophy and book voucher from The Alligators Mouth. In addition, they agreed to be a Reading for Pleasure hub for 12 months during 2024/25.
