Ofsted Deep Dive Training – Secondary

HEP would like to remind secondary teachers that Amanda Davighi’s talk about the new Ofsted framework and Deep Dive preparation is available on the HEP YouTube channel. It’s already had over 50 views and some very positive feedback.
The session was devised using feedback from schools who have recently (January 2022 and October 2021) been inspected and includes details pertinent to preparing for OFSTED as well as good practice in terms of department development and reviewing curriculum provision.

Amanda Davighi
Amanda was the first Advanced Skills Teacher in the country in 1998 and as a result she worked on the London Challenge, visiting schools throughout the capital focusing on school improvement. Amanda was a Design and Technology (DT) head of department for 25 years, a senior teacher in charge of teaching and learning and also the subject lead for DT in the Hertfordshire alliance. Amanda is currently teaching at Dame Alice Owen's School in Hertfordshire and is still heavily involved in outreach.
