FREE sports-based summer programmes for vulnerable students aged 13-18 years –
HEP is pleased to share information about some free sports-based courses being offered by Project-TurnOver.
CALMS Taking Control – starting on 20th April – The Hanworth Centre – is a programme focused on:
- Wellbeing
- Mental health
- Working towards re-engagement with education
TurnOver Taking Control – starting on 19th April – Staines Rugby Club on Snakey Lane – is a rugby-based course offering essential enrichment and sporting activities to support both mental and physical wellbeing.
The current CALMS course has been extended until 1st April with a few spaces left if any schools want to try the offer before signing up for the next course.
Pupils from Hounslow Schools will be given priority on the CALMS course as this is a LBH funded programme.
